Hi, I am over stress at my work and wish to resign and my company notification period is 2 month. However, my HDB resale process is at the stage that resale application approved, now are endorsement document and the completion date is at 4 Jan 2024( 1.5 month from now) . My question is as follow:
1. if i resign now (15 nov 2023 and last day will be 15 Jan 2024) will it be affected my HDB completion.
2 if i resign end of nov and leave company end of Jan 2024, will it be affected my completion. Will HDB will know i resign ?

Assuming i do not have a new job yet.

Hope to hear some advise from you all.

In terms of HDB completion, there should be no additional documents required from now until completion. The key thing now is if you will be financially affected by the income loss due to resignation after completion of HDB to support the monthly finances. Would it be good to speak to your management or arrange some time off from work to ease your current stress? Speak to your family about your situation and hopeful they are able to assist you in some ways. Read More

Hi,

1) The HDB will not request more documents after the endorsement stage.
2) After the endorsement stage, the HDB will hand over the document to the legal team to process the paperwork.
3) As a buyer, you will only be requested to pay whatever is needed such as legal fees, buyer stamp duty, miscellaneous, etc.
4) You will only receive HDB approval on the resale application, and conduct a final inspection before the completion.
5) At completion, you are expected to pay the pro-rated property tax that the seller had paid to the IRAS and collect the keys.
6) Just a reminder, in case your agent forgot to remind you. You have to activate the SP service on the completion date so that you won't go back to a place without utilities. :-))

Please give me a thumbs-up if the answer provided is relevant to your main concern. Thanks!!!

Hope the above answers your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.

Good day to you,

Since the final endorsement has been completed, the current thing to do is simply turn up for the HDB completion. CPF contribution will still commence till the time you officially leave the company. However, financial resilience will kick in as there is the need to sustain Housing Loans, Renovation Loans, Personal loans, utility bills, and the list goes on.
