Hi, I am new to buying resale houses here.. May I ask why is a HDB flat with shorter lease year remaining cheaper as compared to a similar flat with longer lease year? Thank you..

Hi Michelle, For balance lease less than 60 years, lower CPF usage and lower loan amount. Buyer has to utilise more Cash to buy the house.... Read More

Hi Michelle For balance lease of 60 years or shorter, buyers would not be able to loan a maximum 80% anymore and it will be lesser. You may wish to check out HDB website for the explanatory note too.
