1) You may check the last 6 months' transactions of the same or similar type to have a guide on the valuation.
2) In general, renovation only occupies a very small percentage in a property valuation. And there is a cap of maybe about $10k for renovation.
3) Thus if the unit has a superb renovation may be spent millions on it, the resale value of it is minimal.
4) So when looking for a flat, the structure, facing, level, size, conditions are the main considering factor when choosing a flat.
5) Conditions are referring to any hidden damages that this unit might have.
6) Do note that those things you wish to redo not because of broken, faulty, or damages, are unfair points to bring up for price negotiation.
