Hi,

I am looking for a resale hdb flat and after doing some research, I noticed that the per square meter of a 3 room hdb flat is always higher than the per square meter of a 4 room hdb flat. May I ask why is it so?

Thank you.

Afternoon,

Singapore family are smaller in sized, and lesser in supply, compared to 4 and 5 room flat. Buyers would normally go for affordable housing, rather than bigger housing, based on the budget that they have. Low supply, high demand. That's how the market goes.
