Hi, I am going through a divorce soon. Currently, I reside in a 5 room HDB apartment in teck Whye. All she wants is half of the money. My qustion would be instead of selling the flat, could I buy the flat from my wife and give her her share of the money? What is the procedure of doing that? Thak you so much for any advise given

Evening Shawn,

You can perform a transfer of ownership or part purchase of the unit from your spouse. However, you must fulfill the eligibility scheme set aside by HDB.
