Hi,
1) I believed that you will be able to apply for the SC/SPR family grant if your spouse receives her SPR before the completion.
2) However due to the tight timeline, you might not be able to get the full grant of $40k on time for your completion.
3) But if the grant is approved, you will get it to reduce your loan at a later time.
4) You have to liaise with your HDB officer in charge of your case when such a situation arises.
5) Do note that the grant application process is automatic, you have to write in via email and submit all relevant documents to your HDB officer in charge to make it happen.
6) In the meantime, it is also good that you raise this with your HDB officer so that he could prepare all necessary papers in advance.
