Hi,

I regret to inform you that your sister will not be able to include your name as her essential occupier of the HDB.

Here are some of her alternatives:
1) Get married and purchase under Public Scheme
2) Wait till she turns 35 year old and purchase under Single Scheme.
3) Rent a place of her own.
4) Purchase a Private property.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi,

From your descriptions, it seems that your sister wish to buy a resale HDB flat.

However, you have to meet certain conditions in order to be eligible to buy HDB flat:

(1) Public Scheme - Husband/Wife w/wo children, Parents & siblings, Children under legal custody/care/control.
(2) Finace/Finacee Scheme - Not married couple
(3) Single Singapore Citizen Scheme - Single SC =>35 years old
(4) Joint Singles Scheme - 2x SCs (Unmarried/divorced => 35 yrs old, or Widowed/ophan => 21 yrs old)
(5) Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme - 1x SC + 1x non-blood related Foreigner w/ pass.
(6) Non-Citizen Family Scheme - 1x SC + 1x blood related Foreigner w/ pass.
(7) Orphans Scheme - 1x SC + 1x unmarried SC/SPR sibling

The possibility are there, you may see from above.
Scenario of 2 applicants only; (4) & (7)
(a) owner + occupier have to fulfill above criteria and
(b) Both applicants do not own any HDB flat or has to dispose off existing HDB flat within 6 months upon key collection.

You will only have to consider private property if unable to fulfill the above conditions.
