Hi, I am about to buy a HDB unit where in the seller is divorced recently (husband and wife own the hdb). What documents should I insist and whether I should ask HDB or lawyer to verify ? Thanks

Hi SK

You will need to verify ownership of the flat before committing it and the divorce documents, eg; final judgement from court.

The sellers are in the divorce position which should not affect your decision in buying as its a willing buyer n willing seller case. =)
