Hi I am a SPR and my hubsand also SPR we own a 3 room HDB unit in Bishan and we are go to file a divource in China.
Now I want to move out to rent a room outside and want to rent out my room to hubsand's friend. can i rent out my rooms and is it against HDB rule.
How much to rent a room in Sengkang now and how much I can charge my room?
Hope can hear from expert urgent becuase want moved out very soon.

Hi, for room rental, you need to apply directly with HDB and once you get a go ahead from them, you could then start your own marketing or get an agent to assist you further. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Afternoon,

Both of you are allowed to rent out your room but you will need to understand that upon official divorce, both of you are only given 6 months to sell the unit. Hence you will need to work out the correct timeline for the rental. This will prevent your tenant from asking for compensation due your requirement to break lease.
