Hi,

If this is going to be your 1st and only matrimonial property in Singapore, you may be eligible for ABSD remission when you include both names for the ownership. The borrower definitely has to be the owner of the property.

Hi,

For mortgage applications, applicant must be one of the owner as well. Thus, your husband must apply for the condo as well.

However, you will be pleased to know that a married couple with at least one SC spouse jointly purchasing a residential property, where both the spouses do not own any residential property at the time of purchase, can apply for full ABSD remission.
