Hi, I am a Singaporean and the owner of a 4-room HDB flat in Jalan Membina for which I have satisfied the Minimum Occupancy Period (MOP) for my flat. Very recently, after serving the MOP, I invested in a housing property OVERSEAS in order to accommodate my ageing parents and my grand parents in that country. Now, I am considering selling my existing HDB and buying a 5-room resale HDB through the Enhanced Contra Facility. I am seeking your advice as to whether I am eligible to buy a resale HDB under the "Enhanced Contra Facility", given that I have a recently purchased OVERSEAS property, which I can't divest so easily? Thanks.
