Hi,

For SPRs purchasing first residential property, ABSD is 5%. For second property, ABSD would be 15%.

If you wish to avoid ABSD of 15%, you have to ensure the Buyer of your current property to exercise the OTP before you exercise the OTP for your next property. Timeline Planning is also crucial if you need the sale proceeds from your current property for your next purchase.

If you wish to avoid ABSD totally, you may wish to convert to a Singapore Citizen, or to purchase the property under a Singapore Citizen's name.
