hi i am 46 and I finaly lookn to get my own place and m expected to pay 70k in cash proceeds from my previous sale of flat wch was 10yrs ago. i was forced to sell dat matrimonial flat due to a divorce. I have to stay away from my mum n sibling currently as the friction is very bad and i need time n space to focus on my work. I dont have that amount of 70k now anymore as i was actually living off that wen i had just startd my new job too, upgraded my skills through a course, takn care of my mum as well due to her poor health, as well as payn d bills allowance n marketn. How do i write to appeal to waive off? i cnt verify hw the money was spend i hv no supporting docs as hdb mite require. i am only lookn to live elsewer for my sanity n peace.

You can explore taking a bank loan in this case, as you need not set aside any cash proceeds from the last sale for the new purchase. As long as you are eligible for 75% loan, you are only required to come up with 5% cash and remaining 20% in CPF.
