Hi, I am 35 this year and is currently deciding if I should buy a 3 or 4 room resale unit for own stay. I understand that if I was to purchase a 4 room now under the Single SC scheme and to take up the grant. If I am to downgrade to a BTO 2 room unit, I am subject to a levy payment but not for a resale 3 room unit. My GNS is will I be subject to any additional "penalty charge" if I am to downgrade from a 4 room flat to either a 2 or 3 room flat?
