By the way, I do have a couple of appeal cases where owner has to head for overseas for work related and their HDB flat has not met the MOP and it took about 1 month for the HDB to approve the application.

Hi Mdm,

Relocating overseas due to work is a valid reason for approval for rental for the whole unit. However, your MOP will be extended for the approved period.

You will need to submit the company's letter on the overseas assignment.

You may get HDB to expedite the application as from my past experience for similar cases, the approval is quite fast. Please feel free to contact me so that I can explain to you in details on how the process works.
