A salesperson being engaged by a seller should have a CEA Registration Number assigned to him or her and this can be verified against the registry. You may download the CEA mobile application to verify on this aspect. In addition, you may also wish to consider the various credentials and marketing plans of the salesperson you would like to engage to find out more about how they are going to market your property. Your appointed salesperson should be able to convince you with their strategy and plans.

Hi there!

You can check whether the agent is properly licensed under the CEA website and they will be using the CEA prescribed form, in this case, Form 5 to enter into a legally binding agreement.
