Hi,
Helping my friends to ask this question.
My Friend has file a divorce. And he would like to ask RES to help him to sell away the HDB unit.
Can he sell his unit now or should he wait for the divorce certificate and then sell the property.

Hi Johnny,

Once your friend receive the interim judgement, he can start marketing his unit for sale. But do remember that final judgement/ court order will be needed during the
first appointment.

I had assisted in a few divorce cases so I am quite familiar with the procedures.

Afternoon Johnny,

Since you friend have already filed for divorce, we would need the interim judgement. Marketing is only possible if there's no further contest which will affect the final court order.
