Hi, Guys! My husband has resigned his job in Dec last year. My salary is S$8000 with CPF. Does it mean our house hold is S$ 8000 per month. I have applied for a HLE, but I was shocked when I see HLE amount, Not more than 253400!!!

I have enquired on maximum HDB loan online through HDB website self assessment, the result is 523000.

I even submitted my current tenancy agreement, My family is paying S$3250 per month, we can effort it, but HDB only approved S$1150 repayment per month. I was expecting 90% loan from HDB,but only got 253400, this is the half of resale flat price, very disappointed.

Can I requested more loan with HDB?

Thank you!

Morning,

As your spouse have being unemployed for more than 3 months, his previous income will not be considered during your loan application. Based on your statement, I would assume that both of you are current not employed and is depending on the rental income to support your livelihood. Do note that you will also be required to sell away any residential property within 6 months from key collection.

Hi, you may wish to go for bank loan as well and see whichever institution could grant you a higher loan. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any banker's contact or any other assistance.
