Morning, Performing enhance contra facility is only applicable if both your sales and purchase unit are utilizing HDB loan. As for any possible payment for cash, be it for COV or shortage of funds, will be dependent on the difference between your sales and purchase price. Hence with your enquiry, I can only said that your statement is somewhat true, depending on multiple factors. Do feel free to contact me for further discussion. Dear Sir/Mdm, Thanks for posting in Propertyguru. For your question, if the cash proceeds from the sale of the house is enough to cover any COV needed in the purchase, then yes the Enhanced Contra facility can cover the cash part. This Enhanced Contra scheme was meant to facilitate the selling and buying for the house owner. 2 things to take note, the selling and buying must all be under HDB loan and also for both the selling and buying, the HDB appointments will be all on the same date. If you have anymore queries, please feel free to let me know. I would suggest that we can meet up for a non obligated discussion and I can advise you further and also answer whatever queries you may have. I have served quite a number of clients over time and many of them have left some testimonials for me. You may take a look at my testimonials from my website, www.jeffreyheng.com. I believe I can provide some good advice to you on this. Looking forward to hear from you soon. Thanks.
