Once you fulfill MOP, you are eligible to apply for new EC.

In your scenario MOP is computed either 7 years from flat selection or 5 years from key collection, whichever the earlier. Another way to check is through singpass login at hdb website, I can guide you.

May I know which new EC you are looking at? I have helped various hdb upgraders to successfully transit to new EC with a detailed financial plan.

MOP is based on the earlier date of either 7 years from flat replacement selection date or 5 years from date of key collection. If you have met your MOP, you can then apply for brand new EC if you fulfill all other eligibility criteria.

Hi Sir/Mdm,

The MOP for your case will be either 7 years from your flat selection or 5 years from collection of your keys whichever is earlier. You will need to fulfill your MOP before you are eligible to buy a new EC.
