Hi gurus! If I were to sell my flat which has 3 co-owners and there are some sales proceeds after returning the money to the owners' CPF accounts, will the cheque be addressed to the 3 owners? Or just 2 owners?

Afternoon McVin Chee,

Unless there's an court order indicating the percentage split, HDB will provide a cheque under all three co-owner's name. You will need a joint account to bank it it. But as to how you are going to split it, only the three of you will know.

Under normal circumstances the cheque will be issued under 3 names and you need a joint account for that.
