Hi gurus! I’m looking for a resale house. My fiance is a SC but currently not working. I’m earning gross at about 2.7k a month. My cpf currently is about 34k. My fiance is a first timer application but however is my 2nd time and recent house has not met the 5yrs as i have to give it back to hdb. Will it be possible to purchase a 4-5room resale flat?

Hi

From the information given, you and your fiance might be eligible for half housing grant of $25k plus EHG(singles) grant of $20k. However with your CPF OA and estimated loan quantum of $178,500 (from HDB website based on your pay), your budget might only be around $250k which is too low to purchase any 4 or 5 room resale.
