Hi Fazil,

As long as the monthly gross income doesn;t hit more than $8k, you are eligible for the 1st timer grant.
Yes, the grant will be added into the 20% down payment.

Feel free to email me of your requirement as I can help you to source for your ideal house.

Afternoon Fazil,

With your current combined income, you are eligible for HDB loan plus the housing grant.
This will allow you to use it for the minimum 10% downpayment.

Do feel free to contact me if you require any further assistance.

Hi Fazil,

Based on the information, the combined salary is below $8,000 and both of you are first timer. Therefore, you are eligible for HDB loan and the $30,000 grant. I suggest that you apply for HLE first before searching for flat. At least you will know what is your budget, base on the loan amount and the amount of CPF you have.

The $30,000 can be used as downpayment. For your information, the downpayment is 10% if you are taking HDB loan.

Hope I had answered your question.

Feel free to contact me if you required any assistance on applying HLE. I can also help you source for your ideal home.

Thanks and Regards
