Hi Gurus, I am looking to buy my first HDB resale flat. I'm a SC married to a foreigner and living overseas. My husband and I are planning to move back to Singapore and Ill for a LTVP for him. I have a few questions regarding the purchase. Will I be eligible for the singles CPF grant of 15k if our household income is under 10k? If I'm SC but my husband has a LTVP pass can we get a HDB loan? Lastly in terms of renting out, because we live overseas for now for work can we rent it out without fulfilling the MOP? Thanks

Hi Melanie In your case, yes you are eligible to purchase a resale HDB unit and HDB loan as well as grant. But pls kindly note that you got to physically stay in the unit for 5 years before you could rent it out. You are able to appeal in your case and subject to approval.
