Hi gurus,

I am intending to sell my private apartment in D12 to raise funds for my other businesses. Is it possible to rent it back from the new owner upon completion? How does this process go about?

1) Do i have to do up the tenancy agreement together with the OTP?

2) Is this considered selling with tenancy or does this work separately?

i don't want to risk the chance to sell it and i have no place to stay after this.

Please reply with constructive answers. I would like tp pick a good agent from here if i receive a satisfactory answer.

There are a few ways to do it. It depends on what you want to achieve.

The most important thing is to your main criteria to cash out for business.

You won't want to limit the number of of potential buyer who are buying for own stay.
People who buy for ownstay are willing to pay a more reasonable price rather than investors who are purely looking at a GOOD DEAL at lowest possible price.

What I suggest that you may want to consider:
1. Keep the option open, if some buyers who wants to buy for own stay, and able to offer a reasonable market price, you may want to consider to sell them and quickly look for another place or unit within the same development for rental.

2. If investors come in, and buy for rental sake, you can negotiate for a tenancy. Investor will love to have an immediate tenant.

3. If the negotiate of the rent is not of win-win situation, then, you can still look for other unit for rent.

Yes, it is possible to rent back after selling. We will inform all potential buyer regard to this matter. If the buyer is buying for investment purpose, they will be more than happy to buy as there is ready tenant.
