Hi Gurus, I am currently servicing a housing loan for a private property. I would like to purchase a commercial property under my son's name but I will help with the repayment bcos I don't think his salary is sufficient. I am 50 years old and my son is 25. Can this be done? Also are there any other considerations that maybe relevant? Thank you.

Hi,

Yes, it is possible. CPF funds is not usable for Commercial properties, and you will need to finance it in Cash. I don't think there is any problem for you to repay the loan in Cash for your son every month.
