Hi gurus, can i know if it would be wise to sell my 4rm resale flat then apply for new HDB BTO 4rm unit or apply for BTO first? Wat r the advantage n disadvantage? Thanks in advance for d kind soul.who can enlighten me..[

I believe you are looking at the price differences for a resale HDB and a brand new HDB.

There are definitely pros and cons for doing so but it very much depends on what you require.

New HDB is definitely on the cheaper side as compared to most resale HDB, but you'll likely require to put in some dollars for renovation when you purchase a new HDB as compared to the maintenance dollars put in for the current unit. In addition, you will be required to put in stamp duty for sales and purchase, on top of any agent fees to sell your unit if you plan to sell through an agent.
