hi Guru,im a singaporean & had ahdb flat with my PR wife.currently my wife are tranfering the ownership to me cos we intend to purchse a private property under her name with 80% loan.after the tranfership of hdb to me,can i sell it & purchase another hdb flat??either under mine name or joint with one of my parents??im 38years old with 03 kids & currrently hdb flat had obtain MOP.any experiece Gurus can help on this issued??

Afternoon,

I'm puzzled with the following:

You are currently married, hence you have purchased the HDB unit with your spouse under Joint Tenancy. How can she transfer her ownership of the unit to you, unless both of you are divorced. Even if it goes through, your wife must be the essential occupier.

Without clearing this hurdle, I doubt you can stop thinking about the rest.
