Hi guru, my mother and I bought a resale hdb flat and we are both PRs.. I'm planning to get married next year so I need to retrieve my name from the existing flat to buy a new hdb with my husband.. Can my mother retain her flat after I retrieve my name. She's 44.

Morning Ah Min,

Under the current HDB ruling, PR are not allow to own HDB unit under single scheme. Even if it's allowed, your mum need to worry about the financing for transfer or part purchase when you have your share removed.
