Hi Guru. My fiancee and I are getting married in Nov 2011 and we would like to get the CPF housing grant. However our resale transaction will be completed in mid July 2011. Is it possible for us to extend our dateline in producing our marriage certificate?

Afternoon,

Purchase of resale flat flat under Fiance / Fiancee Scheme would require you to produced the proof of marriage within 3 months time. However, subjected to approval, you can talk to the HDB officer, during your HDB first appointment, about when your ROM date will be.
If I don't remember wrongly, you are allowed to book your ROM date 6 months in advance.
That should be able to answer your question.
