Hi Guru, I'm staying at 3NG HDB flat and my neighbour which is the corner house 4NG going to sell his house. Can i eligible to buy his 4NG to combine under one household/owner name ?

Evening Alicia,

You can purchase the unit, if your have fulfilled MOP, under conversion scheme. It would be good to check out on the permit for such conversion before you proceed with the S&P.

By the way, with the new rules now, if i have fullfilled MOP, under conversion scheme, can i still purchase this house if i have own Malaysia property ?

Need to declare or need to sell the Malaysia Property which is shop houses and landed houses ?

Hi Alicia

Conversion of HDB flats is up to max 3 1/2 room only hence if the unit is 4ng then it's not possible for you to do so.

As for prior to the conversion you have purchased another property in Msia. I'm afraid you may have to sell it first.
