For a SPR to be eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat, you will need your spouse to be either a Singapore Citizen, or a SPR, where both of you must have been SPR for at least 3 years.

If you do not meet the requirements of forming a "family nucleus" you are not eligible to purchase a HDB flat.

Hi,

If you are eligible for a hdb loan, u don't need to pay 5% in cash. However, the first very important criteria is a SPR need to have a spouse who is singapore citizen or SPR and at least 3 years.

If you are buying alone, then the option will be private property.
