Hi Guru, I will get my official approval letter for citizenship in 1-2 weeks time and will proceed with the citizenship conversion process by end of this month. I should be able to get the temporary pink IC slip by mid March and would like to purchase a resale. Can I use my temporary pink IC slip to apply for HDB loan?

Yes, you can use your temporary ic number to apply for hdb loan provided you met the eligiblity condition to purchase a resale flat. Read More

Good evening,

Congrats in becoming a citizen of the Little Red Dot. You will be eligible to purchase resale HDB unit with HDB loan. However, you will still be required to fulfill HDB eligibility scheme for the intended activities.

Hi,

Congratulations!!!

You shall be able to apply for HLE (HDB Loan Eligibility) upon getting your tempoarary pink IC slip.
Just a reminder that you should also apply for passport on the same day. You are not able to place deposit for any flat without that.

It is only 4 weeks from getting your citizenship, I would suggest you should starts looking for your home now.

Generally, it takes at least a few weeks before you are able to identify what you really want and what you are able to afford.
By the time you straighten out your thoughts, it is just on time to receive your temp IC and book the flat at the same time.
