Morning,

MOP requirement is based on date of purchase or date of transfer. Hence you are eligible to sell your HDB unit and upgrade to private property.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi Mike, Am i eligible to rent out my whole HDB unit?
Hi, nope you do not have to delay for another 5 years to sell after the conversion from SPR to SC. You could proceed to sell or rent out the hdb.

Good afternoon,

You don't have to fulfill another 5 years MOP for the change of residency status. Since you are a SC now, you are eligible to hold on and rent out your HDB when you purchase a private property.

If you need any assistance in your property needs, feel free to contact me. Cheers!

Dear Sir/Mdm,

The good news for you is that you do not need to fulfil another 5 more years of MOP. So this means that you can proceed with your plans to purchase your private property. Oh and congrats on getting your citizenship.

If you do not mind, maybe we can meet up for a chat and we can discuss about your plans. We can also see if you should sell your current HDB or should you keep it based on current market sentiments. May I also request for you to visit my website, www.jeffreyheng.com to read some testimonials that my clients have left for me over time. I believe I will be able to provide some sound advice to you for your future plans.

Looking forward to hear from you soon! Thanks.

Hi, i would suggest you to hold on to your hdb and rent it out if you got the means. If you purchase a private property and sell off your hdb flat, it would be difficult to purchase a hdb flat in future.

Do contact me at 8555 7355  for further discussion.

It would be my pleasure to assist you further.

Thank you.
