Hi Guru, I am owning the private property in india and still paying home loan for that property and the home loan is for another 20 years. Is it possible for me to buy HDB flat in singapore using my CPF funds? In this artcle you are mentioning that we can buy hdb if you have home loan for your other country property.

Hi Vicky, firstly, HDB flats can only be bought by Singapore citizens or PRs. If you qualify to purchase, and decide to purchase, you will need to sell off or transfer your overseas properties.

It is a regulation required by HDB.
Otherwise, you can consider purchasing a private property instead.
