Hi Guru, currently I and my husband is staying in a 4rm Hdb ,but we intend to sell and upgrade to a new 5rm bto. But do we need to pay any levy?

Evening,

If your current unit is purchased directly from HDB or from resale market with housing grant, your levy payable by cash will be $40k.

Hi Ms Ng,

Should your current unit be a subsidized unit, e.g. purchase direct from HDB or purchased with CPF Housing Grant, resale levy is applicable if you upgrade to a new 5room BTO.

Hi

If purchase from resale market with HDB concessionary loan, or direct from HDB, you will incur a resale levy of $40k when you buy a new 5 room BTO.
