Sorry to inform you that you are not unable to do so as you have to form a family nucleus in order to purchase a resale HDB.

Thus if you want to buy resale HDB, you have to sell off both HDBs.

Btw care to share why do you have the intention to purchase a resale HDB?

As you and your husband are considered as family nucleus, it's not possible for him to purchase HDB unit without adding your as the essential occupier, which is the minimum requirement.
