Once you purchase a HDB unit, you will be required to sell away other residential property, locally or overseas, within 6 moths from key collection.

Unfortunately, it is not possible. You will be required by HDB to sell off the private property (EC) within 6 months from the completion of sale.

Hi,

As long as you purchase a HDB flat, you will be required to sell off all residential properties latest within 6 months upon the purchase.

Afterwhich, you will be required to meet a 5-year MOP period, before being able to purchase another residential property, be it another HDB or a private property.

If your plan is to hold onto 2 properties, you may wish to explore other ways to go about it.

Hi,

I assume you are SC before we discuss further.

The situation is such:
(1) If you own a HDB, you may purchase a partially privatised (5+~10 yrs) EC. Because EC (5+ ~ 10yrs) is considered private property to SC.
(2) If you own EC (5+ ~ 10yrs), you have to dispose it off upon key collection for HDB.
