This is not possible as at the time of the registration of the next HDB, HDB will require your wife to fill up your details as well. So, that application will be rejected as one couple can have ownership interest in only one HDB flat.

No, this is not possible. Husband and wife can only own 1 HDB, even if 1 of them is only an essential occupier for the unit.

As a married couple, both of you are considered as an entity. Under the current HDB ruling, every entity is eligible to own only one set of HDB housing.

I regret to inform you that it's not possible for a married couple to own 2 HDB flats. Should the Wife purchase another HDB flat, the husband will need to be included as an essential occupier. This means that he will be required to sell off his own HDB flat latest within 6 months from the Wife's HDB flat purchase.
