Hi experts, would like to ask if I have an existing property in Malaysia (still under bank loan), am I subject to 45% loan limit if I apply for Bank Loan here HDB purchase? I am planning to sell my private property within 6 months after completion of HDB purchase.

Hi,

Overseas properties are not taken into account for LTV. In fact, by purchasing a resale HDB flat, you can also qualify for max 75% loan even if you own multiple properties in Singapore. Bank's max LTV of 75% applies for HDB purchases.
