It depends on the agreement between you and the agent. I would say a high majority of the agents absorb the advertising cost on their own. Of course, most of the agents advertise only if they have signed an exclusive agreement with the owner. The advertising will be accounted for by themselves since they are already charging you a service fee (commission) for helping you with the marketing of your unit.
