Hi,
Ex wife bought a BTO flat with child as essential occupier.
After MOP, can remove child name as essential occupier and I apply a new BTO flat with my child?

Is it allowed for the same child name to be use twice as essential occupier?

Hi Shermen,

If you have custody, care and control of your child, you can apply for a BTO flat under the Public Scheme with you as the owner and your child as an essential occupier.

This is provided the previous flat your wife had bought has already been sold according to your Court Order or taken over by your wife under the Single Singapore Citizen Scheme or by including another family member to retain ownership of the flat.

Hi Sir,

May I know if you have the full custody, care and control of your child?

If not, I'm afraid you will not be able to apply a BTO with your child.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.
