Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone could help me out with the following - I'm listed as a co-owner on my parents' HDB flat. I am servicing the mortgage (HDB loan) using my CPF.

I would like to remove myself as a co-owner, as I'm interested in purchasing my own private condo downtown.

What do I need to do? I've been reading the HDB, IRAS and CPF websites and it does seem that this is a difficult and complex undertaking.

Thanks so much.

Sincerely
C.

Evening,

You will likely be going through a partial sales of the unit to your parents. Valuation need to be done and your parents need to be financially capable of getting mortgage loan to buy over your share of the unit, along with the CPF that you have contributed to the unit. Once this is done, you can work out on the transfer documents with HDB.
