Does your Grandma has a will? If not, you may consider speaking to her to do up a will for the property.

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. Technically speaking, the flat will be passed on to her children in this case.

Hi,

1) There are 2 items that you should be aware of and take action on if needed before your grandma pass on.
(a) Inheritance
(b) Eligibile to own an HDB flat

2) If your grandma set up a will to leave the flat to the occupiers (all grandchildren). Then there will not be an issue of ownership after she passes on.
3) If your grandma did not set up a will, then the ownership of the flat will distribute according to the intestate succession act. Meaning her flat will distribute 100% to all her children equally only.
Meaning that her children must have the capacity to keep the flat in order to allow all of you to continue to stay there. But if they already own a flat, they will not be allowed to keep this inheritance but to sell in the open market.

4) Assuming your grandma now set up a will to leave the ownership of the flat to all grandchildren.
5) These grandchildren also must meet the eligibility criteria set out by the HDB:
You may refer to the eligibility listed by the HDB to see whether this fits.

Hope the above answer your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
