Hi, currently my wife and I owned a re-sale HDB (bought from open market and without taking any CPF housing grant) which only fulfill MOP in Feb 2016. We have a plan to our future that we intend to sell our re-sale HDB flat and buy a new BTO. Our question is, are we eligible to submit e-apps for new BTO which TOP date is later than that MOP date (Feb 2016)? Or we must wait till after MOP then we can do an application for BTO? Thanks.

You will have to wait till you fulfilled MOP of your flat before you are eligible to apply for BTO.

    Thanks for your fast reply. As far as I know, for purchase of EC unit, we can submit application for the EC unit which TOP later than HDB mop, is it right ?

Good afternoon JC,

Apologies for late reply because Propertyguru doesn't prompt us for any reply to our post.

Actually this rule is applicable for new EC application as well. You have to fulfil your MOP first before can apply for new EC, BTO or purchasing of private property be it in Singapore or overseas.
