Hi Mdm Lim, you cannot own both HDB as well as EC unit. So if you are thinking of buying a resale EC, then you will have to sell away the current HDB unit after the purchase.

Yes, indeed you can purchase a resale EC after 5 years. Having said that, you will need to dispose off your HDB unit within 6 months of collecting your keys.

As a guideline, of the 20% downpayment - 15% Cash & 5% Cash.
