Hi,

Yes as long as both of your parent does not own overseas property and already a PR for at least 3 years, then they are eligible to purchase a resale HDB flat but I don’t think they are eligible for any loan due to their age.

Good morning Sir/ Mdm,

Both your parents will be eligible to purchase a resale HDB if they are SPR for at least 3 years. But due to their age, they most likely wont be eligible to obtain a housing loan.

Hi Sir/Mdm,

Your parents will be eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat if they are both SPR for more than 3 years and if they do not own any residential properties overseas. However, due to their age, it is unlikely that they will be able to secure a loan and therefore it will be a cash purchase instead.

Hi,

Your parents will be eligible to purchase resale HDB if each of them has SPR status for 3 years each. However loan wise may be a challenge due to their age and if they do not have employment income.
