No, as long as you have a private residential property, whether overseas or locally, or regardless if you are Singapore Citizen or PR, you will not be eligible to purchase any type of HDB.

Only maried SPR couples can purchase resale HDB flats. So, both of you do not meet the criteria. Best option is to purchase affordable private property which offers you better long term gains without disposing of your overseas properties. Hi,

For pure SPR households, only married SPR couples which have individually held SPR status each of 3 years are eligible and can apply for resale HDB, hence this is not an option for you. You can jointly purchase another private property no issue, and can keep the other properties.
