Hi can i ask for the unit number ? Like #xx-xx

Hi 晴兒,
This is a taboo in our trade when asking for unit number.
The reason being there are black sheep within our trade where they will harass owner direct when they get hold of the unit intend to sell.
It is only upon reaching the block on the agreed viewing appointment, then we will check which level to go to, and know which unit should we go to when we reach the correct floor.
Thus it is common that you will not receive response from the salesperson when you ask for the unit number.

Do you have specific concerns in terms of unit number? For example we have clients who believe in numerology in terms of fengshui reasons where they will need to know the sum of the unit number and etc to determine if they wish to proceed in viewing. If this is the reason you may perhaps wish to furnish the listing agent on what you are looking for instead of directly asking about unit number.
Although I do not have qualms releasing unit number to prospects, I will usually do so after finding out why.
