Hi, can I apply BTO immediately after I have sold my HDB flat? I heard from a friend that I need to wait 30 months if I am getting a new flat. Is that true?

Hi Kiwi,
Gd day.
No it not true.
The 30 months restriction are imposed on private property sellers who have sold thier private property. This include those remove their names from their respective private property.
You need not wait for 30 months to apply for a BTO or New flat. If in doubt, please call HDB hotline : 1800 8663066 or
go to HDB website www.hdb.gov.sg.
